AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS – OCTOBER 19, 2023 – The Grand Finals for the PUBG EMEA Championship: Fall (PEC: Fall) – an online PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS tournament hosted by KRAFTON, Inc. – will run for three days from 20 – 22 October where 16 of the region’s best rosters will compete for a share of the $100,000 prize pool. The tournament is the last chance for the squads to earn PUBG Global Championship (PGC) Points, and secure a place at the most prestigious PUBG Esports tournament, PGC 2023 in November this year.

EMEA will be sending seven teams to PGC 2023, which will be held in Bangkok, Thailand. Twisted Minds have already secured qualification through their performance at two PUBG Global Series (PGS) events. The winner of PEC: Fall and the five top-ranked squads will also be joining the fight for the chance to be crowned PGC 2023 champions.

PEC: Fall Playoff Recap

Twenty four squads entered the Playoffs and 16 have qualified for the Grand Finals. Among them are FaZe Clan, who dominated the Upper Bracket together with FUT Esports, both squads boasting three Chicken Dinners. Natus Vincere, Twisted Minds, Entropiq and HOWL have also gone through to the Grand Finals by finishing top eight in the Upper Bracket.

Unlike them, SARVEM ESPORTS, Digital Athletics and Acend Club were delegated to the Lower Bracket and had to fight their way to the finals through another set of 12 matches. SARVEM were the unchallenged leaders of the Lower Bracket with four Chicken Dinners and 73 kills total. We will also be seeing Question Mark and The Woo in the Grand Finals, together with some of the relative newcomers to the S-tier tournaments, like We Live Again, PCIFIC esports, POD Samolet, BAD BOYS and Bumble Squad, who will all be fighting for the title of the PEC: Fall champions alongside top EMEA squads.
