KRAFTON, INC. TO HOLD PUBG CONTINENTAL SERIES 7 EUROPE GRAND FINALS

AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS – SEPTEMBER 27, 2022 – The Grand Finals for the PUBG Continental Series 7 (PCS7) Europe – an online PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS tournament hosted by KRAFTON, Inc. – will run for six days from 30 September – 2 October and 7 – 9 October where rosters will contest 30 matches for a share of the $250,000 prize pool. The tournament is the final chance for squads to earn PUBG Global Championship (PGC) Points, which will help them secure a place at PGC 2022 held at the beginning of November in Dubai. The PCS7 Europe champion will automatically earn a place at PGC 2022, regardless of the total accumulated points.

PCS 7 Europe Playoff Recap

32 rosters entered the Playoffs and 16 have qualified through to the Grand Finals. OVERPEEKERS and Northern Lights dominated their respective groups during the Group Stage, while NAVI, Austrian Force, ACEND, ENCE, and Question Mark – all demonstrated very strong performances. The Woo put on a cliffhanger of a show and advanced to the Grand Finals with a mere two point advantage over Bystanders.

On the first day of the Elimination Stage, win or die dominated with a staggering 49 eliminations and three Chicken Dinners. FaZe Clan came a close second overall, while HOWL, FUT Esports, Fella’s and Polish Power also qualified to reach the Grand Finals. The fate of the only remaining two slots was decided during the Last Chance Stage. The day proved to be full of surprises and upsets, and when the smoke settled, it was Team Exalt and Stardust left standing as the winners.

Pick’em Challenge for PCS7 Europe

The Pick’em Challenge is back for PCS7 with PC and Console players already being able to purchase PCS7 items in PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS until October 7. 30% of PUBG net sales of PCS7 items will be added to the prize pool and distributed to the teams according to their final results. Additionally, PC players will receive voting coupons that they can use to predict winners in Pick the Winner and Team Faceoff challenges. Those who choose the winning teams correctly will receive Esports points that can be exchanged for exclusive PCS7 items. Voting coupons and Esports points can also be earned by simply watching and interacting during the tournament on our official channels. The Pick’em challenge voting period for PCS7 Europe will run from September 26 to October 7. PCS7 Europe Grand Finals Broadcasting Details

Fans will be able to watch every match live on the official PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Twitch and PUBG: Esports YouTube channels. Describing the action every step of the way will be PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Talents: Marten “Avnqr” Gøth,, James “Kaelaris” Carrol, Richard “Saga” Sharples, Mike “hypoc” Robins and Tobias “TheNameIsToby” Wiinblad.

The matches will also be available in Turkish on the official PUBG: Battlegrounds TR YouTube and Twitch channels with Talents: Mustafa “Fanius” Gültekin, Timur “Timurleng” Günay, Arda “Tropik” Bayram, Utku “Utimik” Taşyürek, Buğrahan “Wreckage” Şevke.

In addition, a German broadcast will be available on the official PUBG: Battlegrounds DE Twitch channel for fans to enjoy with Talents: Patrick “InviSan” Schadewitz, Kathryn “Lady_de_Rose” Eykelen, Daniel “Rubal8er” Rubalcado, Adnan ”Souljah87” Rashid,  Klaus “Trauni” Parzinger.

Starting at 19:00 CEST daily, matches will take place from 30 September – 2 October and 7 – 9 October.
