I-DRIVEN CO-OP HORROR GAME TO OFFER FREE DEMO FROM JUNE 9 TO 16

ReLU Games, a creative studio under KRAFTON, Inc., today announced that it will showcase its upcoming AI-powered co-op horror game, MIMESIS, at Steam Next Fest. As part of Steam Next Fest, a global digital event that highlights upcoming titles, players will be able to download a demo of the game from June 9 to 16 (PDT).
MIMESIS is a four-player co-op game that immerses players in a chilling world plagued by a mysterious rainfall that turns humans into doppelgänger-like creatures called “Mimesis.” These entities replicate voices, behaviors, and memories. Players must work together aboard a moving tram, collecting resources and keeping things running—all while questioning who among them might already be a Mimesis in disguise.
Blending social deduction and psychological horror, MIMESIS introduces a groundbreaking twist through its reinforcement learning-based AI. This technology enables the Mimesis to behave with human-like realism, forcing players into tense scenarios where trust is fragile and paranoia runs deep.
In the lead-up to Steam Next Fest, ReLU Games held a four-day closed beta test from June 4 to 7 (PDT), which received overwhelming interest and engagement. The game has already surpassed 100,000 Wishlist additions on Steam, underscoring its rising popularity even before the public demo.
During Steam Next Fest, players can access the free MIMESIS demo via the game’s Steam page and experience firsthand how this game redefines the co-op horror genre. ReLU Games will use this opportunity to gather community feedback and further refine the game ahead of its official release.
