  • Date2025. 08. 14

New vehicle skins, expanded creative tools, and a fan-favorite arcade mode headline the latest update

KRAFTON, Inc. has released Update 37.1 for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS on PC, with the console version to follow. This update features a high-profile collaboration with legendary hypercar brand BUGATTI, the official expansion of the UGC Alpha platform for player-created content, and the return of retro arcade mode POBG with a new map. For full patch notes, visit the official website.

BUGATTI Hits the Battlegrounds
PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is partnering with BUGATTI to bring two iconic hypercars to life in-game: the Chiron and Chiron (Édition Spéciale). These exclusive vehicle skins are available for the Coupe RB, offering players a luxurious new driving experience on the battlefield.

Players can access a wide array of customization options—including 14 exterior paint colors, 4 interior styles, 7 wheel types, and 7 brake caliper designs—alongside themed costume sets. Unique containers will spawn on the starting islands across Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Vikendi, Taego, Deston, and Rondo. Only players with BUGATTI vehicle skins can unlock these containers and drive the exclusive cars.

Each vehicle comes equipped with authentic BUGATTI features, including distinct engine and backfire sounds. The Chiron (Édition Spéciale) offers an even more immersive experience, featuring an active rear wing and custom boost sound effects.

UGC Alpha Expansion

The UGC Alpha system, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS’ creative mode platform, has officially expanded, allowing more players to dive into custom game creation. Available exclusively on PC, UGC Alpha lets players design custom rules, logic, and objects, enabling a wide range of experimental gameplay beyond traditional battle royale.

The platform is now open through the October update. Players with PUBG Plus accounts can host and create custom sessions, while all players can join and experience various sample modes already in rotation.

POBG Returns

The retro-inspired mini-game POBG makes its return for a limited time, this time featuring a new pixel-art map: Paramo. Originally launched as an April Fools’ event in 2021, POBG lets players face off against waves of chicken bosses in fast-paced, lighthearted action.

Beloved for its arcade-style visuals and casual gameplay tone, POBG remains a favorite among fans seeking a break from standard battleground intensity.

Additional Updates

Update 37.1 also introduces a range of gameplay enhancements, including:

  • A new ranked season
  • An updated Survivor Pass
  • Balance adjustments for designated marksman rifles (DMRs)
  • Removal of canted sights
  • Destructible props and vending machines on select maps
